I skimboard in Rhode Island, what wax should I use and is there a certain way to apply it?

Use sticky bumps cold wax. On youtube they have videos on how to apply it.

Honestly, any type of skimboarding or surfing wax works good enough. They're all basically the same. I prefer to use Mr. Zog's s*x Wax, but I don't know if they sell that in Rhode Island. All you do to appyl the wax to the board is to rub it on. Put more on in the more glassy areas of your board or where you're more prone to slip, or where you usually place your feet. You can seriously never use too much wax...Hope I helped!! and good luck out there skimboarding!!
