  1. You have to sleep AT LEAST 8 hours, therefore you have to go sleep earlier, only thing you can do whether you like it or not

  2. Sleep is very complicated and I will post the questions I usually ask my patients here:

    a) do you sleep at 12 a.m. because that's the only time you feel sleepy? or perhaps you lie down earlier but don't sleep until then?

    b) do you use an alarm clock or do you wake up at around 6 am on your own?

    c) is the sleep straight or interrupted by wakefulness periods?

    d) do you dream often?

    e) do you feel your sleep is insufficient?

    f) do you feel sleepy throughout the day?

I ask these because if you don't feel any adverse effects then you have to realize that there are people for whom 6 hours of sleep is enough.

However I still have some tips:

Sleep before 11; you'll find that you will sleep more deeply. (own experience)

break the habit of drinking coffee in the morning.  It's tough but it'll normalize your sleep problems (if any) later.  Try green tea.

Chamomile tea or warm milk before sleep can help one sleep sounder.

  3. first try going to bed 15 minutes earlier each night because your body has different sleeping cycles and you can miss it so just do 15 min earlier each night until you have enough sleep...if that still doesnt  work see a doctor, if itisnt bothering you tho dont worry about it

  4. We all have different circadian rhythms - the body process that determines our sleep/wake patterns.  Try going to bed a little earlier and see if that gives you a bit more sleep.  It works for me.  I routinely wake up early and have a hard job getting back to sleep.  If I do, like today, I feel really groggy when I wake up the second time.  I'll include a link that will provide some more information.  Good luck.

  5. A physical is always a good idea.

    The answer is simple...

Do activities that make you tired earlier.

Then go to bed.   Put "light blocking" shades on your windows.

  6. sleep early

i have the same trouble at night n wake up early

or take a nap at the day time.. i do that sometime

  7. ok i did the same thing like a month ago. and  i stayed up all night then all the next day and by the time it was 9:pm i colasped on my bed. and woke up @ about 10 the next day then i just kept falling asleep at 11 or 12 and waking up at the latest 10 it works really well

  8. benedryl

it's allergy medication... makes u drowsy. got allergies? take benedryl 1 hour before you go to bed.

  9. First look at what you eat and drink. Especially within a couple hours before bed. If you consume a lot of caffeine, it'll mess you all up. Stress, that affects your sleep pattern. You need to get into a relaxation routine before bed, unwind. Listen to some good music, not heavy metal that works ya all up. Or rap coz it gets ya crazy and may make ya wanna dance. Take a long hot shower or candle lit bath. Drink some sleepytime herbal tea and go easy on the sugar. Read a little, my eyes always get heavy when I try to read before bed. If you don't stay active, maybe you need to exercise more, it'll make you and your body tired and hopefully your body will react by letting you sleep longer and get to bed earlier. If you have a lot on your mind, write it down in a journal everyday, and get it out of your system. You may not solve all your problems, but at least you can deal with them and your mind can rest a little easier. Ask a pharmacist about a non-addicting sleep aid. Talk to your doctor

  10. no no no you are absoloutly fine but I will till you a way that worked with me try to do some sport for one hour before getting to bed then after that go and take a shower and believe me you will fall in a very deep sleep you will also enjoy it try it and you really will like it later

I hope that I helped you

    best luck

    kld
