I slept wrong......PLZ help!!!!

Question

my neck hurts so bad it has for 2 days.

i have a kink in it. it may also be from going on roller coasters...

whatever it is plz tell me how to fix it!!!!

im in so much pain i cant look down and i cant look to the right

i cant really move my head at all

Well, first off you could try not sleeping like that again... lol

I say give it a day and if it still hurst go see a chiropractor or even better a massuse! I'd go to the massuse though. Hope I helped, Feel better! BYE!!! =D

Go to an arthritis specialist. You may have a form of arthritis which affects the neck, spine and hips. There is a gel called Biofreeze which can be ordered on the internet which is a good topical. If you are not allergic to tylenol or aspirin, excedrin has both in it and may help until you see the doctor. Good luck and I am sorry you are in pain.

alternate ice (in a plastic bag and then covered with a cloth) with heat (moist washcloth heated in the micro) on your neck and upper back.  do stretching exercises as it loosens up.

Definitely try an ice pack.  If you don't have one, use a bag of frozen corn or peas.  It will mold to your neck.  Just keep sticking the bag back in the freezer.  Of course, you don't want to eat them after that.  You can also try a heating pad.  Use either for 15 minutes at a time, then give it a rest for 1/2 an hour or so.  Try using an over the counter pain reliever like aspirin or tylenol.

Personally, I'd go to the doctor.  I'm not one, but it's possible you have a whiplash, and you don't want to let it go on.  Sometimes they don't really start hurting until a couple of days after you get injured.

I don't want to scare you, you're probably right- it's just a kink.  But if you can't turn your head, I think it's time to see a doctor.  You don't want the possibility of lasting problems.

put sum ice on it
