I smoke weed and gamble. Help!!?

Question

Over the years I have realized I have a problem with smoking weed and gambling. Because of this problem I have put myself in debt as well as hurt the ones I love. I have been smoking for 9 years and gambling for 7 years hardcore. Can anyone give me good advice on how to start putting my life back together?

Don't give them both up at the same time.  One thing you can do is get better at poker and start making money at it then maybe you've only got one problem.  Even then you've got to control your playing and not let your playing control you and this needs to be done in stages.  If you decide you've got to lose the poker then take some of the money you're losing and spend it on more productive things to reward yourself.  As far as the weed goes the good news is that it's not a "hard" addiction like some drugs but you're probably going to need some help with that through a support group.

first of all DON'T SMOKE WEED maybe join a support group for the drug abuse and second GAMBLE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! but it also depends did you put yourself in debt from gambling or buying so much weed
