  2. Yeah, it sounds a little early. Either hand pull (I know what a pain right!)

    Or wait untill later near the end of fall when the grass begins to go dormant!

  3. FYI, Most "weedn'feed" products only control broadleaved weeds and will do NOTHING to your crabgrass.

    Grassy weeds are difficult to control.  The best thing to do at this point is to keep the grass mowed (to best prevent the crabgrass from seeding).  Plan on applying an application (or two) or Scotts Fertlizer (+ Halt Herbicide) next spring (and early summer).  It will prevent the germination of crab as well as MANY other weeds for the entire summer.

  4. Depending on what type of grass you have you may be able to kill crab grass now.  But weed and feed wont work, most of the time you need a pre emergent to kill crab grass, so you will need to wait till the grass slows down growing a little to apply pre emergent.
