  1. Tell them that since it took them so long to response someone has already bought it. The other person paid right away. : ) Should work.

  2. You entered into a contract with the buyer and are legally required to sell the item.  If the buyer does not pay within the timeframe you specified on your listing, you can either re-list the item for keep it.

  3. This is an ethical issue.  You've entered into a contract with the buyer, and the only ethical way I see out of it is to contact the buyer, explain the situation, and let him or her decide how to proceed.

  4. send a message to the buyer that the item is no longer available...

    addendum::::

If you put in those conditions, then you are not breaking any contract: they did.  Send the message to the buyer telling them they did not follow their end of the contract, the item is no longer available, and you apologize for the inconvenience.

  5. i think that since someone else already agreed and wanted to buy it you should let him/her have it. it would be rude to want it back after they are buying it. maybe it's just a lesson well learned. next time really think about whether or not you want to sell it before you put it online. don't lie!!!

  6. Message the buyer and let them know.

Or if they don't pay within the required time period then just keep it and don't accept their money later.

  7. You message him and tell him you want to keep it and say you hope he understands! it happens alot with my friend!

  8. Talk to the buyer.

If you just do nothing and the buyer wants the item, you run the risk of have a bad mark as a seller.

Unfortunately, you have entered into a contract to sell the item

  9. sorry darlin, you've entered into a legal contract to sell that item.

obviously if you don't get paid in a reasonable timeframe (14 days via snail mail is the MOST I'd wait), report the bidder as a non-payer to eBay & keep the item.

  10. idk but u could just keep it

  11. You should have thought of that before you posted it.  Try telling them that there is a problem, like your dog ate it or someting.  You will probaly still get a negative rating.

  12. well if they havent paid then i would email them and tell them that the item is no longer for sale and that perhaps they can look for another item of that describtion on ebay. send your apologies and i am sure it will be ok.

  13. If it's somthing breakable you could tell them you broke it.My sister in law did that once.

  14. contact the ebay customer services department for help.  They will solve your problem.  Since you've mention the buyer didn't pay yet, therefore, you still have a chance to cancel your post.

  15. that has happened to me.  Email the buyer and tell them.  The worst they could do is give you negative feedback but if you explain to them im sure you will be ok .

  16. lol oops.

  17. Um, a transaction through Ebay is a contract. Unless you can write to the buyer to see if they will allow you to cancel the sales contract, you are obligated to follow through.
