i sold something on ebay, and was sent a lloyd TSB cheque, can that be cashed in the postoffice?

what ID would i need. i want the cash ASAP.

i don't think it is possible to do that, go to your local Lloyds TSB Branch and then all they will need you to do is write a signature to get it cashed...

Only Postal Orders can be cashed at Post Office. The cheque would have to go through your bank.

No. You need to put it in your bank or go to one of these places who cash cheques.

you have to put it into your own bank account then wait 3 to 5 days for the cheque to clear that's if the cheque has been written out to you .

No you can't cash a personal cheque at the post office. You need to pay that into a bank account in the same name as it is made out to.

Only POSTAL ORDERS can be cashed at the post office, or of course a Giro.
