I sometimes have a difficult time unwinding after a difficult day....?

...sometimes at the end of my work week - I am a little wore down (especially durring summer months)...anyone have any home remedies or suggestions as to wind down quickly and smoothly? I mean I am a high strung person anyway - sometimes I just feel I get a little too snappy and short with my family just because I'm tired and wish they could be more understanding of this....I usually don't get any wind down time to refocus from work to home....does this make some kind of sense to anyone else?

Any suggestions or advise?

  1. Try a cup of Chamomile Tea. Works wonders.

  2. I feel ya there, but the best way to unwind will require you spend some time to do so on these stressful days/weeks.  The best thing to do is exercises.  Exercise is great for your mind as well as your body.  And find what works for you, weather it is a class at the gym, a sport, just working out, or even some of the newer video games that require you to get up and move.

Follow this up with something relaxing, like a shower, something soothing to drink and even some smells help people to unwind whether it be candles, incense or whatnot.

When you are relaxed and feeling well that will be something that radiates from you.  Hope this helps some.

  3. Take up yoga ... it's very relaxing and I know a few people who use it to battle stress in their lives.
