Question:

I sometimes "scoop hook" my driver and woods...?

what would be the cause of this?is it my head or shoulder turning over on my downswing or an outward path on my back swing?or all of the above?help pls

  1. Id say that your body is twisting to much on the follow through before the club is coming through. Just remember to hit straight through the ball and you should be able to fix this pretty quick. Always keep your head down to of course ..this could influence abit of the scoop.

    i hav a friend dat does dat all da time cause he swings 2 fast but wen he slows it down he hits like normal so jus try slowin ur swing down and hopefully dat will help

  5. Not sure what you mean by "scoop" hook, but hooks are caused by the clubface being too closed at impact.  You could open the clubface a little before you grip the club, or weaken your grip a little - these may help you stop going left so much.
