I sorta want to buy the sims 2 ?

ok well i have the sims and i sorta want to buy the sims 2 is there a big diference between the two can you do more on the sims 2? and then i heard all about the movie and i dont really want to do the movie i just want to play so any answers

please help

If you like the sims, you'll like the sims 2. I only played the sims for a few weeks, so I don't know all the stuff you can do. I love the sims 2. From what I've read, you can do more on sims 2, but there are some things from the sims that no longer exist in the sims 2.

Yes, the sims 3 will be out sometime next year, but it looks vastly different. A number of people are going to wait to get it. My computer probably won't be able to handle the graphics of it, so I'll be waiting.

I wouldn't wait for the sims 3.  When EA announced that the sims 2 was coming out, they kept postponing the date to fix bugs.  Then there were still some.

Yes, it's a lot different than the original sims, but it's a lot more fun.  You don't ever have to make any movies.  It's available, but I have been playing since September 2004 and I have never made one.  I love the game and highly recommend it.

There are too many differences to really tell them all, but one of the main differences is that your sims will age now.  If you start with an adult couple and have them have a baby, the baby turns into a toddler at around day three.  Then into a child after about 4 days.  Then into a teenager then into an adult.  If you add the expansion pack called University, you can have them go to college once they are a teen and that will add a new life stage called Young Adult.  If not, then they simply turn into Adults.  Then into elder and then they will die after a while.  But you can turn the aging off too if you want to keep them alive longer.  Plus, there are hacks and built-in cheats that will let you change their age.

That is just one of the major differences, but there are a lot more.
