I spend 70 to 100 going out to eat every month, is that normal?

That amount is for a family of three. How much do you spend out of your own pocket every month going out to eat?

You may be happy to see Others spend more than you, but I still recommend you to eat as less as possible outside, because home made food is the safest food. But still 100$ a month is very good amount. Keep it up.

Hmm that is a tough one.  Its relative to where you live and your choice in dining.  Im pretty middle class but being single in NYC I find myself spending around 30.00 a meal for myself and on a date upwards of 150-200....trust me Im not enjoying shelling out that cash but I do enjoy a nice dinner.

you have much better self control than we do..  i spent about $30 in the past 2 weeks on lunches just for me..  and I brought lunch most days..  today's lunch was $8.50..

Well food is one of my greatest joys in life, and it's the one thing I splurge on. I spend a lot more than that, but then again it's just my boyfriend and I...no kids yet. I also find that when I go grocery shopping, I spend a lot of money as well, so I might as well go out and have someone cook and clean for me!

we have found out that's its about cheaper to eat out than to buy groceries....for two of us that is, 70 to 100 is about our weekly budget for food so that sounds reasonable if it is in ur budget

That's good.....I spend that much a week!!!!!! There are 2 of us so we eat out alot. Sometimes its cheaper for us to eat out. Watch the specials that places have..

Yes that is a reasonable amount. We have a family of three and we probably spend $200.00 or more a month eating out.

in a a month..that is really low..we do that everytime we go out and that is about twice a week.

It depends, not much though. But you & your family should cook more and on the nights you would have gone out make it a family cooking night. Besides with the price of gas steadily rising we won't be able to buy food at the grocery store let alone "go out" to eat it

If that's your form of entertainment, then it's not really that bad.  My question to you though is, are you sure about that number?  Many people LOWBALL their guess as to what they spend out because they don't take into consideration little things like a breakfast burrito or a soda and fries.

Probably $25.00 tops We only go out once a month,  When we first got married spending $15.00 on groceries, was a lot...  I'd rather not spend a weeks worth of grocery money on a outside meal.
