I spill sauce in my gas grill, how do i clean the lava rocks?

Turn it on high, shut the lid, and let it bake off.

Leave it to self-clean (on high) for one to two hours.

This cleans the racks as well.

It should burn itself clean;-} set on high & close lid.

You may get some smoke;-{ it'll blow away.

i put the rocks in a 5 gal pail with dish washing detergent let soak and replace

Put new ones in or just take out hte ones you got saucy.
