I spilled pepsi on a rug and now it smells wierd.?

Im home alone and when I spilled pepsi on it it started to smell strange. Is there any way to get rid of that smell?! I just used the stove after I spilled the pepsi. Is it a gas leak!!! Please help!!! I don't know what to do!!!!

  3. turn off the main gas valve and wait until your parents get home.

    as far as the pepsi - use baking soda and water

  4. Do you have any club soda? After you've gently mopped up as much of the pepsi as you can, pour on some club soda and let it sit for awhile. Then dab it up with paper towels (don't rub or press) and repeat.
