  1. Heloise gives you an answer on this site-it's answer #4.

  2. Place 4 paper towels on the spot, make sure they are good absorbent kind.  Then place a warm, not too hot, iron on them, let this sit for awile, the wax will absorb into the paper towels, you may need to get more paper towels and repeat this process.  Be patient, the key is not getting your iron too hot and giving it time, every now and then press down hard on the iron to get down deep into the pile. :-)

  3. The best way is with an iron.  But I have never had an iron hanging around.  So what I use is a hair dryer.  Have a lot of paper towels on hand and start melting that wax.  I usually have to use the highest heat setting and the highest fan setting.  That can be really loud, but it gets almost all of the wax up.

    what you do is:

keep the direct hair dryer heat on the spilled wax.  When it becomes a liquid, use your paper towels to "soak" up the melted wax.  If it becomes hard again, or there is some left, you can repeat the steps.

I hope this helps.  It usually works for me.

  4. Paper bag and an iron... Place the paper bag on the wax, turn on the iron on low and iron the bag to melt the wax. Move the bag around so the wax sticks to clean parts of the bag.

  5. Goo Gone its awesome.

  6. .Apply a really hot cloth in it  . to make the wax soften up a little and then... peel it right out.

  7. omg thats gonna be very difficult. my friend did the same thing and was never able to get it out. good luck, i wish i had better advice but i dont know

  8. try hot water you need to get the wak to turn back into a liquid

  9. The first thing you need to do is remove as much of the hardened wax as you can. A butter or putty knife works well for this but you can use anything with a dull blade. Scrape up what you can and vacuum the debris. Next place a clean cloth, paper bag or paper towel over the wax. Run a warm iron over the cloth until the wax melts. A hot hair dryer can also be used. Once the wax is melted, it should adhere to the cloth. Lift the cloth and the wax should lift with it.

It should be noted that if the wax is colored, it may stain your carpet. Anytime you apply heat to a stain, it causes the stain to lock into the fibers leaving you with a permanent reminder of your clumsiness. It's for this reason you should use a warm iron only. You also don't want to use newspaper or any kind of paper with words or pictures on it unless you want the image to be transferred to your carpet.

  10. cloth or napkin & an iron.

place cloth over wax & apply iron... the irons heat will draw the wax into the cloth

  11. I've done this before it works great!  Take a brown paper bag with nothing on it.  Place it over the wax, take a hot iron and place it over the bag.  The wax will heat up and soak into the paper bag.

  12. A blowdryer and a rag/towel you are willing to throw away. Just heat the wax up and scrub like crazy!! Depending on what color the wax is, you may not even be able to tell it happened!

    Works like a charm!

  13. Place paper (brown paper bag would be perfect) over the wax and use a warm iron on the bag. The bag will absorb the wax.
