  1. The other writer is correct. Nothing will resurrect those pads. The more you use them the hotter you'll make your rotors therefore burnishing them and warping will occur. As was mentioned, clean the rotors with alcohol as well as the caliper body and change the pads and you'll be fine. Next time you oil your chain, assuming that's the offending substance, cover your rotor as to not get any over spray on the brakes. Lesson #1 over.

  2. You can clean the rotor with rubbing alcohol, as for the brake pads their toast. Go to your LBS and buy some new pads.

  3. been there the pads are as others said gone put them in the trash but the rotor I used soap and hot water or you could try a degreaser

  4. the rotors can be saved, you will need new pads though. get some fine grit sandpaper and sand away at the rotor in a perpendicular pattern (not in a circle, but up and down). wipe down with a clean cloth and rubbing alcohol after. then install your new pads. now go ride.

  5. as for the rotors wut they said but you can some times burn the oil our of ur pads with a blow torch....just take ur pads out befor you try this and dont over do it.
