  1. dilute it with water... or mix water with washing up liquid and leave it on the bleach

and then with a clean cloth dab at it. but i think this will help NOT make it worse, but i think that the carpet will be quite ruined

  2. Basically, there is no proper way.

The best you can do is to minimise the effects by repeated dilution and mopping and squeegy-ing it.

Fill the sink with warm water, and pour a bowl of this on to the carpet. then mop it out into an old bucket, and repeat this as long as you are able to.

The bleach becomes more and more dilute with each rinse, and eventually loses its bleaching power, as the chlorine evaporates.

  3. Dilute it with water, don't rub it in, pat it!!!

  4. If you've had the time to log onto your computer, sign into yahoo answrs and ask this question, the damage is probably already done

  5. With a dry sponge then with water.

  6. Rub it in with a tea towel

  7. Too late my friend you should have dealt with it at once.  Sorry!

  8. There isn't anything you can do except, bleach the whole thing and you don't want to do that.

Maybe you could cover it over with a plant or tablet, depending on how big was the spillage is

  9. Shop vac.
