I am a soccer goalie and I sprained my wrist in a shootout in may pretty badly. I went to the emergency room and they put on a partial cast and x-rayed it. They did find a few abnormalities in my x-ray, but the doctor touched my wrist in the area of it and I said it wasn't bad. The thing is that I was in just so much pain overall that I really couldn't tell where it was coming from and I just wanted him to stop. I was unable to move it at all and had to keep it in the partial cast for 2 weeks before I could put it in a brace. 4 weeks after my injury at finals, I played but taped my wrist up really well, but now, august 9th it still hurts me to bend it backwards or pull/push anything with it. It's not like shooting pains like at first, should I see a doctor about this? what should I do about soccer which starts again in september for me?
do you think the doctor can even do anything about it? I mean, he cant do x-rays or anything cuz we already have some and I still cant pinpoint the origin of the pain.
