  1. just go and be like normal....ive been in high school for two years

just ask the staff if you need to find your classes. just wear what you would usually wear. and friends will just come naturally

  2. Don't worry about it! You have nothing to worry about. I'm going to be a sophomore this year and freshman year was fine! Just be friendly and say hi to everyone. I'm sure you'll make some friends. Just be approachable!

  3. Just make sure to bring pencils and all the other stuff the expect you to bring. Just wear something simple skinny jeans and maybe a tank top and cool hoodie, or if you have to wear uniform then wear the uniform but don't wear your tie total high up on your neck lol >< Just be nice to people honestly they'll be as nervous as you are so be friendly and act nice. Good luck x

  4. Jesus, dumb freshman.

    Chill out, and enjoy highschool.

  5. aww i'm only 5ft and im in grade 11, everyones way taller then me :/ it'll come to you! just be confidence! your their for education, it's all worth it in the end remember.

  6. LOL SENIOR HERE!!

yea i remeber when i was a little freshie lol

really calm down...right now it seems huge but youll get used to it and soon high skool would be like junior high..

im pretty sure people are going to help u find ur classes. just ask teachers, security people etc. theyll b happy 2 help u.

you will make friends easily 2. remember everyone is new and they will b looking 4 friends 2.

as for the tall thing..im a senior 5'4 and trust me there are shorter ppl ..so dont worry

    good luck! :D

  7. OMG same situation!

Im starting High School tomorrow too as a freshman.

    Im nervous about friends.

I wanna ditch my group and make new friends, cause the people in my group are kinda rude and embarrassing to be around.

    Your height doesnt matter.

Ive been thinking about how its going to be all day.

Just be yourself, and keep a smile on your face.Thats how you make friends.

And be talkative to people around you. Try to be close to at least one person in each class so if you have a project or something youll have someone and wont be lonely.

    AND,remember to be yourself!

its always scary to go to a new school.

    Wear whatever your style is.

Im gonna wear black and white vans, dark siknny jeans, and im not sure about my top. Either a purple top with a black necklace, or a plain black tee with a pink and black square-neck scarf.

    Good Luck!

Im really nervous, too. But trying to focus on being talkative and outgoing=]

Also,if you dont know where your classes are, go to your schoo and look right now if its still bright out!

Or go early tomorrow morning and make sure you know where they are, cause i didnt know where mine were when i went to a new school in 7th grade, and i was all frantic.

  8. Just be yourself and wear what you like. Who cares if you're 5' 0"..that doesnt have anything to do with like anything. I'm 5' 2" and a sophomore...it doesn't bother me any. Get a tour of the school before the first day, or you can usually go to the school before it starts and find all of your classes and put stuff in your locker.

  9. i'm starting next Monday so i can rest a week thank God! but omg i don't know just be urself freshman year should entertain me this year but prolly scare the living h**l out of me also

  10. same for me! just make sure you have pens and paper and whatever else they told you to bring. wear comfy cute stuff, blend in if you're worried about attention. ask nice teachers questions, and make friends with people in your classes (you'll see them alot!).

  11. LOL u walk in sit there listen to the teacher and walk out again and again. U dont do any work on the first week cause theirs gonna be alot class tranfers going on.

  12. Ahh you should get a scheduel, be nice and open to people. friendly obviously. dont feel too short, my friend is like 6' and im 4'9". there could be worse, and remember just like theres going to be really tall people, they'll be really shhort people. :) Mabe wear a jean skirt, platform thongs, a graphic tee, or baby doll, or a v-neck tee with a tank. and if its cold then wear a sweater. if your not into skirts how about skinny jeans, flats, a graphic tee, and big braclets, or a tank top (something colorful) nice cuffed capris, and flipflops. maybe even wear a bright colored earings, braclet and headband, maybe even a bright beaded necklace.

    GOODLUCK<3

  13. Well, I graduated High School when 2 years ago. I'm starting my first day of my sophmore year of college tomorrow.

But I can honestly say, that of all the time I spent in public school, High School was the best.

Don't worry about what to wear. Just wear what you like.

Don't worry about finding your classes, because most schools will have some sort of orientation thing the first day, and they'll help you with that sort of thing. All the rooms are numbered, so that makes it easy to find the room numbers. You can also ask pretty much anyone, unless they're a real a*****e they'll be cool with helping you, and if they're not, just ask someone else. And even if you can't find the room, the teachers are usually ok with freshmen being late and not being able to find their way on the first few days (just don't make a habit of being late).

Making new friends shouldn't be that hard, just talk to people. The ones that like you will talk back.

Really, high school was much better than junior high for me. The teachers were a lot nicer. When I was in middle school, they would tell us "you're not going to be coddled anymore" "you're not little kids anymore, we're not going to hold your hand" and then they would still talk to you like a child, and give you silly punishments for petty things. In high school, they do expect you to act more mature, but they treat you like you're more mature too.

High school is really not so bad.

Don't take things to seriously. As a freshman, the older kids will get annoyed with you. That's just how it is with upperclassmen, don't take it personally.

  14. I think of the same questions when i start school too.Just be yourself and try your best at everything!

  15. whores,

    drama,

    exams

    lots of tests

dont worry about tall people they are not scary

    more drama

    did i say drama?

    oh and drama

dont hang out with dramatic biotches.

  16. okay the most important thing is to seem calm and cool on the outside (even if you're freaking out on the inside). Smile a lot and be friendly but not like fakely. Go up to people that look like you could be friends with and introduce yourself. Ask them things like: how was your summer? what do you think of high school so far? what middle school did you go to? also compliment them on something their wearing. that always makes people feel good. And if your short that's a good thing! you'll stand out (well not literally) and be so cute that upper classmen will want to help you out. Wear something that represents your individuality and your style but don't wear something too nice because then you'll look like you're trying to hard. remember, the first day is scary but the rest of the year is always better.

    good luck!

  17. so do i i'm scared.

  18. its okay to be nervous EVERY one is going to be nervous and i bet it will go better then you think. there will be teachers there to help you find your way around and take a deep breath. once you find your class and get setteld in then just talk to the person next to you and ask them if they know were the next class is or something and wear something cute from hollister or somewhere. and dont worry about your hight there are going to be people your hight or shorter. hoped this helped

  19. just bee yourself and u'll do fine! if ur worried about being shorter than i have an answer for u clothing wise.... skinny jeans always make u look tall and lean and dont wear shirts below ur pants waist line. if the shirt hits u around the hips ur essentially "cutting off" a part of ur body making u look shorter. also vertical stripes r great optical allusions that make u appear taller as well.... also wear something a little out of ur comfort box, but OWN it... be confident and make people think ur someone fun to be with... not snotty cool but just be urself, theres always people that will like u for u. also try some funky/unique jewelry... theyre good conversation starter b/c ppl will compliment or ask where u got it... this is a great way to make new friends... people will go easy on u a help u find ur classes so dont worry... ive been threw it before and i promise u'll survive! wear some make up but not a ton... enough to make u look cute/punk or w/e look ur going for. high school is an expierence so enjoy every minute of it b/c it goes super quick and ull have a ton of fun! hope this helps! good luck tomorrow! oh and remember... confidence is key!

  20. dont worry, i was a freshman last year and there is totally nothing to be nervous about.  but then again, i was in a secondary school so it might be a bit different.  Its okay to be a bit short, my friend is the same height as you and she does fine.  Who really cares if theres tall people there, its not like they'll make fun of you.  and if they do, just ignore them.

making friends..well just act as you always do and you'll atract some people who will be good friends with you.

and for classes, just ask others who have been at the school before like the teachers . although it probably would've of been easier to check out the school before going but too late for that right?

and about clothing..sorry, i cant help with that, i totally suck at that kind of stuff.  But really, who cares about what you wear?i just wear whats comfortable to me.

  21. yeah well im not gonna lie high school sucks!!!!!!

it will be the worst 4 years of your life. (possibly)

hopefully you have a better experience than me.

but its really nothing to worry about you will be fine!!!!! everyone is gonna be trying to make friends so its not that hard to make friends just dont be shy!!! and dont worry about what people think of you!!! wear normal clothes? idk. lol

  22. d**n, you go back early!

Anyways, just be yourself. People are gonna be harder on you if you try to fake a front. :)

  23. calm down calm down :D its not that big of a mess trust me.

im a sophmore, or im going into sophmore and my advice

to u is to not worry about it. u have to be able to take it all in

once everything hits u because highschool is all about drama !

but its not that bad once u get used to it, just say hi to ppl u

find interesting that are also freshmans cuz im sure they're nervous

as ur gonna be and want to make friends so do that. but dont let

it get to ur head, calm down and dont be nervous !

  24. YOU WILL BE FINE!!

you will probally really enjoy it.

just be yourself and you will make friends easily,

you have teachers to help you find your classes,

everyone will be in the same boat and feeling as scared as you,

they will all be worring but you will be OK.

you will get used to it.

maybe you should wear something casual,

    jeans and a t-shirt.

    GOOD LUCK!

    ♥

  25. same thing with me just dnt act scared. 2mrw is my first day

    to

  26. lol  wear something like just a t shirt wit skinny jeans and sneaks and just be kind to every1

  27. Finding friends come naturally so dont worry about that just be prepared for alot of drama. Preps and nerds and bullying. Just be youself and the rest will follow through.

  28. well i am only 4"11 and i like my height (and so does my BF) but i started 3 weeks ago as a freshie too! trust me it's not scary, the school may just seem bigger! my new school is humongus! but it's really not scary as long as you have friends!
