I start clomid 100mg tomorow... when is the best time to conceive?

Question

i start tomorrow and i take 5-9. when is the best times for us to have intercourse? What else can we do to help have our baby?

I'm also on progesterone 100mg.

From experience how long will it take to conceive our baby?

Well everyones cycles on chlomid differ in length.  I was on chlomid 50mg and my cycle was between 28 and 30 days.  You should be getting a scan round about day 13 or so and this will give you a rough idea of when the follicle will be ready to release that egg.  I would advise that you assume that your cycle is going to be 28 days long and start using the clearblue digital OPK's from day 11 until you get that smiley face.  

I went through 5 cycles in total and only used the opk's on the last attempt and got pregnant.  i am sure that this is what allowed us to time intercourse exactly and conceive after 2 and a half years of trying.

Hey it is ovulation test they will tell you when the best time is to have intercourse your doctor would normally give u a scan and take bloods the 1st month you take clomid well mine to make sure its working.

Also you could get pregnant 1st time or it could take longer it just depends i got pregnant on clomid but had a miscarriage, But i have heard of people on here that its worked for. Good luck

EDIT: You should be able to get them in any chemist or online they shouldn't be that much its just sticks like pregnancy tests. But yes having intercourse every second day is just as good.
