I start college tomorrow night?

Question

it's only a CC, but...

1) can you give me any advice on what i'll need?

2) should i wait to get some things, like notebooks and all, until after i have been to the class?

... and if it matters, i have a laptop.

You should definetely take a notebook, even if it is a CC it's still college and from my experience, you do work the first day of classes/take notes so you will need at least one notebook and a pen. You don't have to bring a notebook for every class but one at least. I wouldn't go bringing my laptop until the second day of those classes, that's when the real work starts.

Take a backpack and either a notebook and pens or the laptop, whichever your comfortable with. You might want to get separate notebooks for each class later on, but to start out just make sure you can write down notes (ie when office hours are) easily.
