I start school tomorrow, I don't know why, but I'm kind of nervous...?

I'm starting 8th grade tomorrow. I guess it'd be different if I was going with my best friend, but she's carpooling with someone else. I'm just nervous that I won't look right or my best friend won't find me, lol. I know it's stupid, but my heart is like, beating fast. I'm scared about the people who are going to be in my home-room, like the really popular people who hate my guts. I mean, I'm not a geek or anything, I have a bunch of friends and stuff. But I kind of want my best friend by my side at all times. Does anyone have any tips or advice to give me? This is my last year of middle school! I want to make this year a good one. Because the last two middle school years didn't go so well for me...

1. i feel sorry for you that u have 2 start 2marow, i dont go back til next week and on a thursday

2. im a freshman this year so im nervous 2 ur not the only one

3. most likely youll find ur friend, if u dont have any classes with them theres always lunch and youll have a lot to talk about( ex: my friend and i only had homeroom 2gether but we are best friends)

3. if ur that nervous send them txt messages thoughout the skool day( make shure ur phone is on silent)

talk to your friend and have her meet you at the front of the school or something. in your home room, you will meet new people and make new friends. (all of the popular people were in my homeroom and i still made friends) this will be the best year of middle school. trust me.

it is absolutely normal to be nervous. i was nervous too for the 1st day if school. if you want your best friend to be beside you all the time then tell them that. don't expect them to read your mind. at my school, you are only in homerom for ten minutes I don't know how you school is but you will survive it. just don't pay attention to that kind of craziness. don't start anything that is going to cause problems or tension between these so called popular people. good luck!

im soooo nervous about school coming up. its my first year of high school and its so big!!!!! i would love having my friend with me too but she has mostly honors classes. we always try to have certain times that we go to each others lockers so we can still see each other through out the day and it works just to get us through the day. so if you dont have classes together try going to each others lockers. last year all i did in homeroom was sat there cuz i didnt know anyone but its only for like 15 minutes so it was fine. try not to worry about the popular ppl they p**s me off. your popular in your own way and to your friends dont be so worried about the small stuff. hope i helped!
