I started a game yesterday rated1262, and beat a player rated 1357. Why did my rating stay at 1262?

the game has to be a rated one, or no points change.

the rating system sometimes takes a couple of days to update stats.

Make sure you check to see the game is a rated game. Maybe you played an unrated one and didn't realize it. Only other reason is maybe Yahoo was lagged and you will receive you points shortly after. If it was rated and you still have not received points its a glitch. You may never see the points.
