I started a group but none has joined????

My group teamwork123 none has joined. Can I tell if someone has even looked at it? I know I wored it wrong but I can't seem to change it. Is there a way to change my group wording?

1)  It takes time to build up a membership when first starting a Yahoo group. Here are some suggestions on how to get members.

-Ask all of your friends and family to join your group and ask them to tell others about it.

-Add a signature on your email - include the link to your group in the signature.

-Send Invites to people you know and have their email address.  To learn how to send Invites, go to http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

There are Yahoo groups whose main purpose is for Y! groups owners to promote their own groups.  Use the Yahoo groups search and do a search for "promote my group". Join one or more of them and advertise your group there.  You will probably get a lot of new members that way.

2)  You can place a hitmeter on your group's home page. I recommend this one:

They give you good instructions on how to add one to your group home page.  Their sitemeter gives you stats on who is currently viewing group (the isp of visitor), recent visitors, visits, and much more.

3)  You can change the wording in your group's description on the home page.  This is how to do that:

Sign in to your group.

In the Description area on the home page, click on "Edit" located to the right of "Description".

On the page that comes up, scroll down to Description. Click on (Edit).

On the next page that comes up and in the text box to the right of "Description", find what you want to change.  You can change the wording as you wish.  After you have made your changes in the description, click "Save Changes".

yes it alway takes time with a new group..you can tell your friends and they can tell there friends and have them join..but you have to make your group sound good for other to like it
