Question:

I started a raw food diet 2 weeks ago...?

would like to know if having a heavy stomach and slow digestion is normal...when does the body start to adapt to this new way of eating and digestion. What other symptoms can I expect and when does everything start to normalize more or less.

  1. I guess your will start getting used to it on the 3rd week.... I heard this diet is really good, let me know how it went  good luck!!! =)


  2. I had the same problems when I first became a vegetarian over 10 years ago. I was deficiant in protein and B-12. I found a product called Klamath Blue Green Algae. It is a healthfood supplement that contains all of your needed B-12 and over 600mg of protein, which is like unheard of. It helped me alot, I even noticed my energy levels are much higher.   3. Allot depends on just how TOXIC you were when you started. It takes time for all that sludge to leave not just your intestines but your cells too.

    You need to take a digestive aid anytime you eat food. Not when you are just doing juice or green drinks.  I bet you'll see some real results by the end of the 3rd. week. 21 days seems to be the "magic" number for our bodies to respond to major changes.
