I started taking a birth control pill called Trivora about a month ago. The doctor told me to wait for my period before I started them, but I knew I wasn't pregnant so I went ahead and started them anyway. I've taken these pills before and did the same thing I did this time, but last time I had my period. I'm on the fourth inactive pill and I haven't started yet. My b*****s are really sore, and I've had stomach cramps at times but they went away after like 2 minutes. Has anyone else gone through this???

  1. no but go to the doctor if you don't get it after a few weeks

  2. If you're only four days into the inactive pills, your period might still be coming--if you have no period after the inactive pills are over, then call your doctor. Some people get very light or no period when they're on birth control pills, but the doctor will want to make sure that it's not pregnancy (the pills aren't effective until after the first two weeks, so if you had s*x during the first two weeks of pills and didn't use condoms then pregnancy is a possibility) or any other hormonal problem that's causing you not to have a period.

  3. birth control are just female hormones that disrupt and/or confuse your cycle...its supposed to not let you have a period, so why are you worrying...

if your doctor told you to wait you probably should have waited...

  4. usually on birth control pills doctors tell you to wait till your period so that your body goes in to an even cycle while your on the birth control, instead of confusing your body.

you probably shouldov waited, even tho you done the same thing another day.

Go back to your doc i would say and talk to her/him.

Your b*****s being sore and things are just symptoms.
