I started feeding my pup Eagle Pack Holistic..?

she is a great dane/st bernard mix..was this a good choice?

it is adult food (weird greenish colored bag)

I feed this to all 4 of my dogs and they love it.  They itch less, shed less, and their coats look great.  I have 3 different breed of dogs - a cairn terrier, 2 Australian Shepherds, and an Irish Setter.  I am told it is rare to find one single brand of dog food that is good for all dogs and that all 4 will eat.  My parents feed Eagle Pack to their Shar-Pei and Aussie.  Shar-Pei's can have lots of food allergies that affect their skin - luckily no problems with Eagle Pack.

I was feeding a different brand until my terrier started having an allergic reaction to the food.  My vet recommends this brand and no problems since then.

You may want to check with where you buy the food.  I know my store has a program where I after I buy 11 bags, I get one free.

You made a good choice in dog food!

We feed Eagle Pack Holistic Lamb for allergy issues and have had needless to say incredible results!!  No more antibiotics for the pups and less vet visits.  They were one of only a handful who was not caught up in the gluten poisoning problem a couple of years ago.  I must add that there are several really good feeds out there, do a little research online.

This is a wonderful resource for large breeds.  They can have issues because of their size especially their joints, obedience, etc and it all starts when they are puppies.  You are on the right track, spend a little time gathering knowledge and you will save a world of headaches later on.  Good luck and enjoy your new pup!!

It's a good choice, much better than commercial dog food or those famous "veterinary diets"! I feed this my two dogs, they're healthy, their furs are smooth and shiny, they like it...

Good job! You switched to a very healthy food. I've never fed it before, but I know it is a GREAT brand to be feeding your dog. Awesome! You should be awarded the "I'm a good owner because I feed my dog a good brand of food!" award.!

(she should be eating puppy food until she is 18 months though. Puppy food has extra vitamins and minerals for a growing puppy.)
