  1. I used that book (earlier edition) in 12th grade in homeschool! My mom found both the student and teacher's editions at a library book sale. We used all the Prentice Hall literature books for highschool and found them cheap at library book sales, used book stores, and public school surplus sales (along with most of the other textbooks we used). Those places will probably be your best bet for locating the teacher's edition, but you can get by without it. Good luck.

  2. Those are school edition books and often they do not sell teacher editions unless you are a certified teacher to prevent cheating.

If you are home schooling you best bet is to go with home school versions of these subjects; there are many great home school literature suppliers; and they do have the teachers additions, answer key's and test booklets available with their basic text books.

  3. Did you try Ebay?  They have a policy of not letting people advertise the teacher's edition, but....if you will notice that many of the sellers put on in description something like "ask me about other books".  This means that they have teacher's editions or answer keys that are not allowed to be sold on EBay.

I work in the public schools.  I know about rules that are meant to be broken. (smile)

  4. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if you can't find the teacher's edition anywhere. If the book you linked is the edition you have, it's 3 editions behind the current one.

Have you seen this? http://www.phschool.com/atschool/literat... Does it match up at all with your edition?

You could also ask Prentice Hall (there's a link at the above page) to find out if there's a way to get an older edition teacher's guide. I tried going through their catalogue (different site), but they took that part down for maintenance so I couldn't see any more about the text you're looking for.

ADDITION: Are you sure there IS a teacher's edition? The catalogue is back up http://phcatalog.pearson.com/program_sin... and while there are teacher support materials, there isn't a teacher's edition.
