I started moisturizing my face why is my face breaking out and I never break out?

Your moisturizer may contain oils that can clog your pores. You may also be allergic to one of the ingredients and your face is becoming irritated causing you to break out. Check for moisterzers that are advertized as "oil free."

You could be allergic to the moisturizer... or your skin is absorbing too much of it, you should only moisturize if your face is dry, otherwise use a light lotion after showering and at night, or just look at the ingredients it might just be a bad moisturizer...

It's the moisturizer. I'm prone to breakouts and use olay all day complete for sensitive skin, it's really light but it lasts and moisturizes my face perfectly.

Figure out your skin type (oily, dry etc.)

then make sure the moisturizer doesn't contain ingredients that conflict with your skin type

You're skin is probably used to your skin being drier. I recommend you stop using the moisturizer and just use a facewash with moisturizer in it, so there is just the right amount.

make sure the moisturizer is non comedogenic

maybe your skin skin is perfect and isnt too dry or oily
