what are the chances that I got pregnant between the first and second cycle of my pill or am I just not regulated yet? I started on Yaz 2 weeks after giving birth and after my 6 week check up and a full cycle of pills, had s*x again. Now I am done with my second cycle of pills and have not started bleeding yet. Is it normal to still be irregular or is there a chance I could have gotten pregnant even though I was told by my dr that I was okay b/c I had finished a full cycle and then some.

I would have thought I would have started bleeding by now since my last pill was taken Wed night and I am supposed to start the new pack on Sunday.

Worrying for nothing???

  1. It is normal for your period to not be normal or not see if for 6 months after giving birth. Talk with your doctor if you are concerned.

  2. I thought some women on Yaz have light to no periods.  It's something to ask your doc about though.

  3. It can take up to 3 months for your body to get used to birth control pills and to have your period come exactly in the few days it should each month.  You are protected against pregnancy.

  4. it can take sometimes, months to get back on track after giving birth, and because your doctor started you on pills 2 weeks after, will challenge your body a little more. most of the time, doctors wait untill the 6 week check up to start birthcontrol, cause your body is healed by then.

  5. I am thinking your fine.  Isn't Yaz one of those that only gives you a period quarterly?  If it's not then your body could just be adjusting or it's not the right pill for you.  I would really really doubt your pregnant based on the facts you present:)

    Good luck.
