Hi!

I stay in LA. I was wondering, are there any programs available for infants in community colleges? My son is 6 months old. I am a housewife, I don't have any friends here. I was wondering, how can I socialize my son? Can you suggest, any programs ( free programs as well as cost oriented programs) for infants available in LA?

  1. Look up mommy and me and meetup.com.  You can enter your zipcode on both websites and find out where mom groups are meeting.  There's also a Christian group called MOPS which is a mom/baby group that's supposed to be really good.  They also have a website where you can enter your zip and find locations nearby.  It's good to get out there and find things for both of you to do.  Oh another good thing to do is go to the local library and see if they have any playgroups or programs for babies, many do.

    Good luck!

  2. here's a website you will probably find really useful!

    http://www.playgroupsusa.com/cityInfo.ph...

i linked it up the the page for LA. it has information on finding a playgroup. but it also has city resources and tips for finding playgrounds, playgroups, and parenting tips. i think you'll like it.
