Stinger up, and I was barefoot. It hurt, but now it's numb. It hurt bad enough that my whole face was wet from tears. I put a cold cloth on it but soon stopped because I couldn't feel the coldness anymore. Now it's swollen. When I walk I feel my swollen toe rubbing against the toe next to it. How soon will it get better?! I hate how it feels when it rubs against the other. This happend like 10minutes ago.

  1. it sounds to me like you are allergic.

i would go to a doctor tomorrow morning.

  2. I did the same thing (dead bee with his d**n stinger up, me barefoot and clueless).  If it feels that swollen, maybe it got infected or you're a little allergic.  Maybe you could wrap it in a cold, wet paper towel and not walk around so much.

  3. if you are experiencing difficulty breathing or a tightness in your throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, tingling in your hands and legs, headache  then you are probably having an allergic reaction.  but it is normal for a bee sting to swell and feel puffy.  also some numbness in the area is normal.  make sure that you have the WHOLE stinger out.  you can do this by scraping the edge of a credit card over the sting area and it will remove the stinger for you.  take some childrens cold medicine or benedril and the symptoms should go away withing in about 30 mins. and yes baking soda paste works well just after the sing,  also use an ice bag on the area and tomorrow soaking it in epson salts should help.  good luck and don't panic its just a bee sting!

  4. You are probably allergic. You might want to go to the hospital.

  5. This is a normal reaction.  Make a paste of baking soda and water and rub it on your foot really well (leave it on), it should neutralize the venom and provide some relief.  Also take a Benadryl capsule (Diphenhydramine) if you have any, every 4-6 hours tonight and tomorrow. If you have a severe reaction (hives all over, difficulty breathing) then you should seek medical attention immediately.  People get stung by bees and wasps all the time, there is no need to go to the ER unless it is an emergency, don't waste your time and money.  It should feel beter in 12 hours, it will take a while.

  6. You might be allergic. I'd actually go to the hospital, because i witnessed what happens when someones allergic to a bee and they really need to get there just in case.

  7. You're allergic. Go to the hospital. Most bee allergies aren't serious, but you never know.

  8. By now I am sure your toe feels better if not, or in case in any other future events as this, put a slice of tomatoe on the stung part and it sooths.

  9. go to the emergency room.
