  16. cold water and ice. once i fell and put my hands out to stop me and i landed on my crimper... my hand had crimpy marks on it . it hurt so bad but i kept it undrer water all day

  17. Use a cold compress or an ice pack.

  18. oww!!... chop your foot off :-)

try cold water and ice in a tub - it will be freezing at first, but i would rather have a cold foot than a stinging one!

  19. You should run it under cool water for no longer than 10 minutes.

Do not apply ice or toothpaste to it.

If you have a roll of gauze, loosely wrap your foot so that the burned area is covered.

Then just rest it (stay off of it) and keep it elevated.

  20. Run cold water on it.

Leave a cold washrag/washcloth on it for a while and maybe some ice cubs to numb the pain. I did it with my hand. it worked so good.

  21. Ice water and ice packs and for the next couple of days it is really going to hurt! I am sorry to hear about your accident!:(

  22. ohhhhh i did that once but i held it in my hand. get a cold rage and hold it there then put neosporin. it will help!

  23. You can buy a burn ointment at the pharmacy. It will hurt for a few days but it will get better. For the pain just take some Tylenol.

  24. cool water...not cold will help.  Something like lanacaine spray or solarcaine spray works very well.  Also, aloe vera gel can help if you dont have any open sores like blisters.

  25. Put it in ice water, or really really cold water, and put some neosporin on it, maybe. If it's really bad, maybe go to the doctor...

  26. OUCH!!!!!! I would put some ice on it right away and some cold water. Or put neosporin on it. hope i helped. : )

  27. Alvera. its a plant. i closed my thumb in my hair straightener once and luckily we had some alvera. u break it off and this gooey stuff comes out and u put it where u burnt urself. it helps.

  28. put a triple antibiotic stuff..

    like equate

but if you would like to stop the pain

you could put a toothpaste on it..

that's what my auntie gave me when I touched the curling iron

and it stopped the pian and after that...I took a bath and they gave me a triple antibiotic stuff..it's not something to drink it's something like lotion..

  29. Cool water

  30. Run your foot under cold water and then strap an ice pack to it. If it's really bad you might want to go to the hospital and they can give you some salve or something to put on it.

  31. Run it under cold water and/or ice water for at least 10 minutes (that is how long a burn will continue to burn your tissue even after it's no longer touching the hot element.

Whatever you do, don't pop any blisters if they form. That's one of the ways infections start. Put some antibiotic ointment on it (Neosporin makes a good one that also has a pain reliever in it...kind of like Anbesol), and stay off of it for awhile. It will feel better if you are able to keep it elevated for a bit.

    Hope it gets better soon!!
