I stepped on my dog's leg?!?

Question

So I decided to take him with me jogging, at first we were just walking because I was worried I would step on him. Then after awhile it seemed like I could start running after a few seconds I stepped on what felt was his leg. He started making the sound dogs make when they're in pain and after he stopped I carried him home (he's still young) As I carried him blood started coming out of his p***s which made me freak out. Right now he's walking around, he's not limping and a few drops of blood are still coming out, what should I do? Is this serious?

its ok if u acciedently step on their leg . but if their private part is BLEEDING!! TAKE HIM TO THE VET. ITS SERIOUS!.

Sounds to me that it was him you stepped on and not his leg.

You need to get him to a vet ASAP.

This is very serious.....he could be bleeding internally still even though the blood stop coming out of his p***s. It could be going inside his chest cavity instead.

Take him to the vet ASAP! If blood is coming out of him when there are no cuts he may have internal bleeding. You need to get him to the vet now so they can xray or ultra sound him. He could be seriously injured.

The only reason I can think of, why he is bleeding from his p***s, is that you did not step on his leg or paw like you think you did. It sounds like you stepped on him directly and he's bleeding internally!  If I was you, I would turn my computer off, and get him to the vet Now, because YES this is serious and needs to be attended to now!

I don't know why blood would be coming out of his p***s if you stepped on his paw or leg. I would call the vet and explain what happened and ask them for an appointment today.

It might be internal bleeding. I had a dog when I was little that got kicked by the neighbor and died from it.
