I went to those sites to find the Bernina 540 manual but still no luck!

  1. When I lost the manual for my Singer serger, I went to the Singer website and simply requested a manual.  They sent me one for a small fee for shipping and handling.  Did you go directly to the Bernina site and click on the "Contact Us" button?  I'm surprised that they couldn't help you in some way.


  2. Go to the Berinia site and download the manual for the 530-531

    It's almost the same machine, just a portable model.

  3. Does your town have a sewing machine store that sells Bernina? They would be able to get you a manual for a small fee.
