I still don't know what's wrong with my PC. Plz Help.?

Sometimes while i am working on my PC everything stops and the screen goes off but the PC still working but everything comes to a complete halt.

It is slow too.

and it doesn't run a deskcheck when it doesn't shut down properly.

I have changed all the software and some components of the hardware too. but these three problems

Can anyone tell me what causes this.

Can you give more info.  Like what OS are you running? What software is running? Do you have the Service pack updates on there?

How much memory is installed? Tell us what exactly did you change?

Have you tried re formatting the hard drive?

(If your positive its a hardware issue DO NOT try to reformat as the OS won't load if theres an error in the process)

There are so many reasons a computer can just freeze. I suggest going to the tech guy forums and making a post about your error there you'll be able to find people with similar problems.

How old is your PC?  Also, how much RAM do yo have?  Memory is a key factor in running the operating system as well as programs on your PC.  If you don't have enough RAM/Memory to run your computer it will run very slow and freeze when it's trying to do too much.

Find out how much RAM you have under "Control Panel" / "System" and see if you need more.
