I still have not received my window rebate check and it is holding up my stimulus check. I filed in January.?

I have received my federal and state rebate checks already. But I was also entitled to a 60.00 and 200.00 rebate from Federal. I have received my 60.00 check, but not my 200.00 check, the IRS has sent me two letters asking for additional information to which I had to go to H&R block to get. To this day, I still have not received my rebate check or my stimulus check ( which was suppose to be July 4th ) to which I received a letter from the IRS stating the amount and the time frame of delivery. Where is my money ????

I assume you are talking about the residential energy credit, and that they questioned your eligibility.  Your return being questioned is what's holding up your stimulus payment, but hard to tell why your residential energy credit isn't resolved.  When did you send the info back to them? Have you confirmed that they got it?

Your return still hasn't finished processing because you haven't sent the information IRS is asking for.  They won't send your stimulus until your return finishes processing.

Call 800-829-1040, pick the option for a tax law question and they'll the screener what you need or visit your closest IRS office.

What did the IRS ask for?

Did the return fail to include the form 5695?

Was the form filled out correctly?

Did you actually install $2000 of windows (actually you had to spend more since the amount was reduced by the amount of any other rebate you got) during in 2007?
