I checked on IRS.gov and it FINALLY says it is on its way... however me and my husband filed joint with 1 qualifying child... so as far as I am aware I should bet 1200 for married and 300 for kid so total 1500. I put in my social to check the payment schedule it says I am getting 600 for individual and 300 for child... i check my husbands soc it says the same thing... so does that mean we are getting 600x2 and 300x2 for a total of 1800 or will we end up only getting 900 (since we filed together?) both cases are the wrong amount as far as I am aware so can someone explain or give me details and suggestions on what to do if it is wrong.. thanks!

  1. You should check the Primary SSN (SSN listed first on the tax return usually the husbands ssn.)

Sounds like you should qualify for $1500.  Did you use the Stimulus calculator using your husband SSN (if he is primary on the return)?

www.irs.gov  "wheres my stimulus"  Stimulus Calculator.

  2. Married couples can get UP TO $1200.  If you have little or no Tax Liability, then your stimulus amount will be reduced. Your household will get $900 as the IRS site says. Your payment amount means they are giving you $300 per household member.  If you have your tax return handy you can double check using the calculator on IRS.gov.
