  1. I don't think dropping classes would matter to this. It may take some time, I'm guessing; asking your counselor at school might be the best idea though. Good Luck!

  2. I got my letter almost 2 months ago. It depends on the school. Do you have a student account where you can watch for this stuff? I would log on and check, then call the Financial Aid Department. Did you recently move and not change your address? They could have sent it to the wrong place. A lot of things happen. Just be on top of it and take action yourself. No worries. They will get you the money in time if you're active about it.

  3. this is happening to me too! i've been waiting for a month now and school starts on the 3rd of september for me. i called my school and they said they're working on it. But yeah, before that they said something about my ID being duplicated so maybe you should call to make sure before the awards are gone!

  4. You should contact the school immediately.  How did you register?  If you had your tuition paid, then your award was made, but maybe you just didn't get the letter.  Generally, when the letters are late it means that the federal government didn't tell the schools how much money they would be given to provide financial aid.  Happens almost every year.
