I still love my ex but he does not feel the same way what do I do?

Okay so me and my ex did not get along for 5 months and then today he called me and said sorry for being so mean to me and he wants to work things out and be friends again which is really amazing so we will be friends again but the thing is I still love him so much but he does not feel the same way about me and he said sorry about it and that he wants to work things out still and be friends alot though! What should I do about it?

Tell him how you feel. My friend went crazy because she kept this bottled in. The same thing happened but she didnt tell him and he never knew how she felt. I also had the same thing happen. I  told him and he ended up telling me he still had feelings for me. This was 2 years ago and we are still together.

You cannot make someone love you if they don't. I would accept the friendship, but if that doesn't work out (for example, you go crazy when he gets a new girlfriend), you'll need to cut yourself off from him.

theres nothing you can do about. you cant force him to feel the same. time can change feelings. if he doesnt see you in that way anymore then you cant help it. dont let youre feelings get in the way of a potentially great friendship. its better to have him as a friend than not have him at all.

being just friends with someone who you have strong feelings for is tough. but think of it this way...would it be better to have him in your life as a friend than to not have him around at all? take advantage of the fact that he wants to be friends...not many people can stay friends after dating. if you two end up getting back together then great. don't not be his friend and then always wonder what if...
