Question:

I still want to straighten my damaged hair?

hi.

naturally, i have unruly, curly hair, that i don't like too much.

i used to straighten it daily this past year, but then i let off the straightening when i realized how much damage was being done to my hair.

i got a deep-conditioning treatment done at a salon about a week ago, and i have almost completley (except for my bangs) stopped straightening my hair.

however, school starts up again soon, and i'd like to straighten my hair again, though i'm afraid to do so with my already damaged hair.

would it be okay for me to straighten my hair, or would it be a better idea to wait for it to 'heal' a little before i start to do so again? :/

(ps. when i straighten, i use heat-protecting spray, and serum that my hair stylist recommended.)

  1. My mom does hair for a living and i was in the same boat as you.

I have thick curly fuzzy hair, its bad.

Try and use this stuff called white sands.

    ITS AMAZING.

    I highly recomend it.

also its on the expensive side, so if that can't happen then just find some curling gel and use as directed.

    just a thought.

i think curly hair is far more beautiful than straight.

It looks more real and fresh.

  2. i think you can but just not often.

and maybe you just get the ends trimmed or something

cause they always have a lot of damage.

and for school, you can just like scrunch your hair too.

its a lot healthier and its looks good too.
