I stood on a rusty nail..?

i stood on t last night and ive soaked it in some salty water

what else should i do?

people say i should go to hospital but i cba

If you really don't want to go to the doctor, you might get away with it. If you haven't had a tetanus shot, you should go, otherwise just keep an eye on the wound. If it seems to be healing normally, you'll probably be fine. At the first sign of infection (any unusual redness, heat coming from the wound site, unusual swelling, any feeling of illness AT ALL), go to the doctor.

If you can't be bothered going to the hospital for an examination and you're keeping the wound clean, then I am not sure what you think anyone else can do to help you. You're on your own!

if you haven't had a tetanus shot in the past 4 years then you need to get to a hospital, you can develop some serious infections if untreated. The shot should be relatively cheap, and leave you with nothing but a sore arm or butt cheek. A lot better that having to have your foot amputated from an infection (ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little)

Anyhow i'm no doctor, so you should defiantly talk to one.

You may need a tetanus shot. Depends where you are. If you are in the UK, you need to go before about 6pm (othersiwse you will be waiting behind drunks and idiots) if in the USA, see how much money you have and how much it would cost to go to hospital.

Go to your GP or the hospital and they will put you an injection against tetanos. Which is a very serious illness.

You should really go to the hosp. You could get a nasty infection cause the nail was rusty. If it wasn't rusty I wouldn't have worried so much and just done wot you done, but you need to be careful with rusty nails

If you have had a tetanus jab since becoming an adult, then there is no problem. Tetanus boosters are obsolete in adults because the immunity is already built up and stays.
