I stopped using p2p forever and deleted every single thing I've downloaded?

Can I still get into trouble I'm really worried and I've stopped for about 5 weeks now. Can someone give me an answer or some advice?

I've made sure I've deleted everything and every single client, but I'm still unsure. I stopped because I'm realizing what I was doing was wrong and I'm trying to turn around and buy it instead of steal.

  1. I wouldn't worry about it, you have a higher chance getting bit by a shark or dying in a plane crash then you do getting caught downloading music

If this is a morality thing (you feel like you are doing something wrong when doing it), if you really think about it, the RIAA is stealing from us, we aren't really stealing the music, the money you spend on music dosen't go to the musical artist, it goes into the RIAA's pockets, the musical artists barely see a cent of that money you pay, and if it dosen't go to the RIAA, it goes to the musical artist's/band's manager, and when you spend that money, the money should go to the musical artist, NOT the RIAA or artist's manager, making downloading kind of morally right in a way

  2. Ahem ~ have you looked into your registry? How about deep (really deep) into your Documents and Settings folder? I bet you have braces to bunches of files you deleted.

On the other hand, I have a suspicion that you ain't for real.

  3. Can i ask who are you stealing it from????? ITS CALLED SHARING..................  you wont get caught unless someone tells you off or something...

  4. Don't worry about it. If you do get caught it will be in the form of a warning from your internet provider telling you to "cease and desist" downloading illegal software. Since you have already done that then you should be fine.
