I stumped on women...

Question

Ok heres the deal, I'm not that bad looking of a guy, I smile, especially talking to women, I give eye contact, I'm smart, but everytime I go out to public places, I never get any eye contact, from women. I even walk up and talk to some not giving me attention, my approach is good as far as I'm concered, but they never show any attraction or open up to me, when I ask questions. It kills me, cause I've even asked people their opinions, and studied plenty of articles, etc...so im stumped...

You sound like you're desperate and needy to me, and you will probably sound desperate and needy to these women.  What you need to do most of all is back off and chill out, stop going into this with any expectation except to just enjoy the moment.

Don't be surprised if it takes a lot or trying before you get comfortable enough with yourself for them to be comfortable with you.

a woman may be avoiding eye contact so that she doesnt get hit on. some guys take that as a sign of wanting to do much more than just say hi. try to engage conversation while looking just a little past her then bring it to direct eye as the talk progresses.

Well, reading articles on this subject isn't going to give the experience.

You just have to go out there and practice. Maybe if you have a friend who is a girl, you can have her tell you what you're doing wrong. She'll most likely be glad to help you.

Also, you can get help from some of your guy friends. They might be able to give you some tips, strategies, secrets or maybe even tell you if you're doing anything wrong.

Eminem has some things to say about this subject in one of his songs called "Superman"... I know, it's frustrating but keep trying and for God's sake stop analyzing or you'll turn like them! :p
