  1. Contact your Representative in Office.  They had this same question in my State, Arizona, a week or so ago, and that's what the woman did, and her Rep. got her passport for her pronto.

  2. the only thing you could have done is had it expedited, it comes a lot faster, but costs a little more

  3. Did you pay the extra for the speedy research? Really, it is an option when you need it quickly. Try calling & asking if it has gone out that you have not recieved it.

    Good luck!

  4. Since there are new rules on travel, Passports are taking in excess of 2+ months for processing. There is a way to get it expedited, but I think you were supposed to request that up front...also I think you need to be traveling overseas like within x-days in order to get it quick.

Check out their website, but don't bother to call, trust me you'll get no-where. There may be a contact email address that you can try.

    Good luck-

  5. Ya you could try to go to where you submitted it and tell them to hurry up and ask if it will b finished it probably wont be SO DONT KEEP YOUR HOPES TO HIGH.

                            sorry

  6. The wait is much longer now that all travel outside the U.S. will need a passport by 2008.  Contact the passport office in your area and find out what you need to do.

Do not sit and expect it to arrive on time.  Have an alternate plan in place.

    Good luck

  7. I just ordered a passport for my son and they said it's taking about 10-12 weeks right now.  You can pay an extra $60 to have it expedited within a month.  Go to your post office and see what, if anything, you can do.

  8. your not going to get it in time unless you payed big bucks for it there are 3 different means of getting a passport the regular way is taking up to 26 weeks to process. the expressway which is now also back logged to 14 weeks and cost $500.

and I don't know the name of the last one but it takes like a week and cost $1,000

  9. On the application is says pretty clearly that it may take up to 8 weeks.  Mine took about 7 weeks, so you may not get it in time. Your best bet would be to call the customer service number on the application to check up on it.

  10. Contact you local agency and ask them what the hold up is.

May 25th is only a week away, as I am sure you know....so I would check with them...

    GOOD LUCK

  11. Get on the phone

  12. call the immigration office
