  1. Go to free credit report dot com you should have seen it coming at you like an atom bomb

  2. Absolutely. I co-owned a company for 10 years, and there is nothing wrong with a polite follow up call to verify receipt of the resume and check on the status.

We often chose people based on their level of professionalism and how they handled themself on the phone and in an interview. I think a phone call to the HR person or one that does the hiring is quite appropriate.

    Serious answer above

    Not so serious below

  3. If your interested in working in an ice cream factory I have a connection... Let me know:)

  4. SEND THEM A NAKED PHOTO....GREASED.

  5. I don't know.  I just know I am about to go postal on Yahoo if my answers don't start posting.

    Oh sure.  Now it posts.

Woo Hoo!  Naked men!  I can't want Jilibean!

  6. Give them a follow up phone in a day or two, just to see if they received your resume, had an opportunity to review it, or if there's any questions about your resume that you could answer for them.  Other than that, all you can do is wait.  If they are interested, they'll call.

  7. Does your resume state a position you are seeking?  If this is a big company, they may not know what position your applying for.  Always state the position you are interested in. Dont leave them guessing.  if you did state a position, call them back in about a week and let them know you applied and wanted to know if the position had been filled.  This lets them know you are interested and if the position has been filled you can move on to other job searches.  Good luck.

  8. If you contact them, it may hurt your chances.  You can say the squeaky wheel gets the grease. In the world of HR/Recruiting, it's whack a mole, the one that pops up gets whacked. :-)

In all seriousness, when you submit a resume, it will be reviewed and if the employer is interested, then they will contact you.

    Just sit back and wait.

  9. A follow-up would be nice...they may be backlogged with recent grads...Depending on your naked photo, I may have a job for you.
