I payed $55 for a magazine subscription.

I waited for months without getting a single issue. I later find out that the magazine has suddenly, and without warning, stopped publishing it.

Is there any way which I can get back what I payed?

  1. Probably. It's considered false advertising if it had stopped printing. And since you paid for something you didn't receive, then yeah, you could likely get your money back. It'll be a lot easier for you if it was already out-of-print when you saw the advertisement that led you to subscribe, though.

  2. if you have an old copy of the magazine, there should be a phone number for subscriber service.  it may be hard to find, it's usually towards the front of the mag near the contents.  if you can't get through, and you paid for the subscription by credit card, call the card company and explain the situation, they may be able to reverse the charge.

  3. why the h**l would you subscribe just wait  until its on sail at the shops and buy it.......... simple.
