  1. Don't focus on running. When I run around the track I either talk to people to get my mind off running or listen to my ipod. It really helps, once your start thinking about running, goodluck to you :)

  2. Well; I know exactly how you feel. I used to be a chubby girl, but then I started running last year and believe it or not, I'm one of the fastest girls now in my PE class and I'm on a track team.

So what I suggest for you to do If your strong enough, is to start maybe walking a mile about 4-6 times a week for about a week and a half and also lift weights and do push-ups: this will build up your strength and breathing. Then start running about a mile 4-6 times a week. and keep continuing your weight training. And as the weeks go by you'll feel yourself getting better and better and soon your gonna love running!!!

  3. you can go running a few times around your block build up those leg muscles! when you come to my house go on my treadmill [dont freak out people we're cousins!] hmm right before you go to bed do crunches i do 50 a night. itlll make your stomach tighter and therefore your legs dont have much to carry.

and who cares! you wont seem weak and if they make fun of you make a joke out of it!

be like" oh jeeze im gonna have a seizure call 911 !" or be like" you know shutup, ok, this would be so much easier if i was running to get to zac efron"! hahahaha

    kloveyabye.

  4. If you have asthma, why don't you go to your doctor and have him give you a note to excuse you from running.  I understand that you don't want to look weak in front of your peers, but if you keep running and you  have an attack, there is no telling the number of bad things that could go wrong.  I coached HS football for 30 years in Pennsylvania.  We had a kid with asthma who had it under control.  When we went to camp, that was in the woods, he had a violent asthmatic attack and almost died.  Luckily we got to him in time.  Don't take a chance.  Go to your doctor.  If any of your "friends" say anything (and if they do they aren't your friends), tell them why you can't run and leave it at that.  If they can't accept it, they aren't your friends.  Good luck.
