I suspect my son to have pdd .i need iep pointers,homebased.on hou to start basic teachings etc.?

assesment here in the phils has a long line to wait..the available developtmental pedia will be in 2009,for the meantime i want to teach my son the basics.pls help..has someone outthere spare me some advice and pointers.by the way my son is 5,can write the alphabet a.z,can do numbers ,my only problem is his speech,can talk.but conversation is hard.not deaf.

do alot of play tim ewith him like using dolls or even dinos.. also when wathcing a movie point out what going on like look she is sad maybe she shoudl tell someone. That sorta thing, my son has a hard time with converstaion. he can do about two replies them the third one wont make sense. we also do alot of picture cards like a fish, then you want a sent with fish in it, he will say I dont like fish is he doesnt reply say my sent would be whatever... They have to be taught how to conversate whenever my son was asked how are you today he would say im six  because they dont catch what all is said and they reply with what they have been thaught for what they heard. I stop him and say no they asked (stress) how are you today ? then i tell them say okay or if you dont feel good say not well. It worked just had to do it alot.
