I swim competitively 5 times a week and very intense and I get sick OFTEN (I never go a week without a cold)?

Im 13. Am I over working my body to much?? And next season (september) I swim 6/7 times a week for longer and twice as hard! Im probably not getting enough protien because I am a vegetarian but my mum told me to I need more protien so I eat only a little meat but that's it!! Is there anyway for me to get my body heathlyer so I dont get sick all the time!!

  2. I used to have the same problem n then my parents took me to the doctor n they said that I had some sort of allegory n now I have medince n feel much better so I guess what I'm trying to say is go to the doctor cause they r experts n can tell u ways wrong with u

  3. i have two solutions for you:

    1. maybe the pool is using to much chlorine and now that your swimming more your body is reacting to it. I have a friend who get's sick like that and you go to the doctors and get medicine and its ok, just make sure you take the medicine cause if you stop it might come back.

    2. it may also be because of not enough protien. You should drink protien shakes or take a vitamen.
