  1. the vitamin e dose is fine. newer research shows that d alpha tocopherol- the vitamin e that we have been using for dozens of years may not be the most protective. Vitamin E consists of 8 parts. you now want to use a vitamin e that is high in Gamma Tocopherol-one of the 8 parts----a good product would be Source Naturals Gamma E400. I have taken 800 iu of vit e for many years with no bad effects and last year I switched to Gamma E. All this is very safe dosing. I cannot comment on Niacin because I am not 100 percent sure of my knowledge on this. somewhere I read that it could harm the liver at very high doses and I don't know what a high dose might be.Vit E is a super good antioxidant that counteracts free radicals that can damage cells and its contents. Free Radicals cause premature aging and shortened life span

  2. Not good.  Both are blood thinners.  I do not know why you are taking these so that's all I can tell you.

  3. As the person above stated, the vitamin e dosage is fine.

    Vitamin E is an antioxidant.

To add to the comment of the Niacin:

    - the 500mg is alright to take.

    - Even if you overdose on niacin, because it's a water-soluble vitamin, the extra dosage will be excreted through your urine.  Your body is not capable of absorbing more than it needs.

    - Make sure you are taking a regular niacin supplement.  Taking a form of "flush-free" niacin called niacinamide causes liver damage over the long-term.  If you're worried about the flush of niacin, you can take a few raw nuts (like almonds) with the supplement, or take a baby aspirin until your get used to it (make sure you wean off the aspirin after a few weeks, as taking aspirin every day isn't good)

    - The benefits include: cholesterol balance (heart disease), metabolism of proteins, energy production, increase blood flow and improve circulation.
